Hello friends!
It has been quite a while since we have sent out a newsletter. The post-covid era brought lots of changes, and we are finally settling into what appears to be the new normal. We would like to thank you all for sticking with us through this difficult transition.
This year marks our twentieth anniversary as a company. From our first harvest in the fall of 2006 to our twentieth last fall our goal has been the same: produce high quality wines at modest prices that we enjoy drinking every day. In 2008 we opened our tasting room in our new hometown of Pacific City, hoping to provide a casual wine experience in a ‘quant little drinking village with a fishing problem’.
In our twenty years, we have weathered, pun intended, two major crises—the financial meltdown of 2008 and the covid era. Those events reinforced our belief that nothing beats in person socialization. We are biased of course, but we think Pacific City has the best beach in the world, and we strive to be your living room away from home.
We will be reaching out periodically to let you know about upcoming events for both Twist Wine Company and Pacific City, but we promise not to overwhelm your inbox.
Once again, thank you for your support!

EVENT HORIZON
Twist Wine Company 20th Anniversary Celebrations
We will have a few events this year to commemorate our 20th anniversary.
First up: Sean has written a book! Come join us April 25th for the release of Twenty Degrees, a true story of a family lost at sea. Spoiler alert: the family is Sean’s, and there is of course a small tie-in to Pacific City. More details at twistwine.com/twentydegrees.
On Deck: We will be releasing our first sparkling Chenin Blanc later this summer. We have been wanting to make a sparkling Chenin since our first harvest in 2006, and the stars finally aligned. Stay tuned for details!
Sunday School
Back by popular demand, our Sunday School wine education and appreciation experiences are available on the second Sunday of each month. Give us a call at 503-483-1240 to sign up. For those of you unable to visit in person, we will also be sending out a monthly Sunday School email so you can learn about wine from the comfort of your own living room.
